New SX editor sometimes crashes gnucash

Josh,

Attached are at least pieces of the xml associated with one of the  
transactions that fails. I notice that I entered one of the amounts  
as an expression:

<slot>
               <slot:key>debit-formula</slot:key>
               <slot:value type="string">518.42-128.78</slot:value>
             </slot>

could that subtraction be kicking me out?
