Chart for profit trend?

Hi there,

is there any chance to get a report with chart where I could see a
profit trend? What I mean is e.g. that I choose a report and it shows me
a chart line for a year including an average amount of all scheduled
transactions (in and out).
I would do it myself, but to be honest I don't like to learn a new
syntax for only one report.
Is there already a way to do this or could anyone familiar with the
syntax create such a report?
