I know KBabel works well and should be able to handle that syntax
without problems. Also, some Editors are noted here,
http://translationproject.org/html/software.html , but gtranslator is
particularly denoted as "dead" there.
From a quick glance at gtranslator's website (and its svn ChangeLog)
it seems development has been picked up again and plural form support
has been added in the fall of 2007, but the last public release is
still from 2005, which means there hasn't been any public release even
though development might be ongoing again. Conclusion: Don't use
gtranslator. Feel free to use KBabel or poEdit or any other tool that
you feel comfortable with.

Christian
