The instructions for building gnucash on Ubuntu 9.10 on the wiki at
http://wiki.gnucash.org/wiki/Building#Ubuntu_9.10_.28Karmic_Koala.29
includes
sudo apt-get build-dep libaqbanking
Am I right in thinking that this is only required for building
libaqbanking? I ask as it requires a download of 240MB and will
consume nearly half a gig of disk space. I have successfully built
gnucash without this.
If so would it be worth noting this on the wiki so that those who do
not require libaqbanking can save bandwidth and disk space? I will
update it if this is correct.
