I was merely suggesting word/documentation changes rather that a whole change 
of methodology.  Because anything that encourages or eases a transition to 
good open source software should be a good thing.  I think that most users 
really don't care about any underlying ethos as long as it works and has a 
small(ish) learning curve so maybe using familiar terms would help the 
transition.
