Status on work toward a patch

The first three will probably take some time, but you can do # 4 at any time. When you create the issue in Bugzilla, you can set out your goal over there and if you want, link to archives of discussions that have taken place here. They are all archived at lists.gnucash.org. Then when you have the patch ready, simply go to the issue you created and attach it there.
