[PATCH] Some fixes and Lithuanian translation update

I've just read more carefully what is written in the wiki [1]: the
translation work should happen in 2.4 and "Every subsequent release
might have some (very few) new user-visible strings." (as per the wiki).
So I was wrong.
I assume I can apply the patch also to 2.4 branch and regenarate all the
po files with the new strings so translators can update them if they
want to. In this way when trunk will became the current release, the
translations in 2.4 branch will be merged with the ones in trunk.
