Hi,

as I am trying to build the docs in a gentoo based distribution, I run
in the problem not to find scrollkeeper as mentioned in our README. But
I could successfully run configure (and make) after installing rarian.

Background AFAIK:

The last Scrollkeeper release was 0.3.14 at 2003-12-06.

 From http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ScrollKeeper:
... It manages documentation metadata, as specified by the Open Source
Metadata Framework (OMF). ScrollKeeper was used by the GNOME desktop
help browser, Yelp,[1] but has since been replaced by Rarian.[2] It was
also used by the KDE help browser and ScrollServer documentation server.

 From http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rarian:
Rarian is a document cataloging system (formerly known as Spoon). It
manages documentation metadata, as specified by the Open Source Metadata
Framework (OMF). Rarian is used by the GNOME desktop help browser,
Yelp.[1] It has replaced ScrollKeeper, as originally designed.[2] It
provides an API.

Between them there was also https://live.gnome.org/Yelp/Spoon ...

Question: Should I replace the line "* scrollkeeper >=0.3.4" by
"* scrollkeeper >=0.3.4 ot its successor rarian"
"* rarian or its ancestor scrollkeeper >=0.3.4" (my preference)
or something else?
Digged anybody deeper in this theme?

Regards
Frank
