I wonder if the note should really be removed or rather rephrased.

gnucash-launcher.in is no longer used and the two other locations have been moved to an 
external repository. Should be change this to inform the reader that changes in this file 
may require additional changes in the relevant files in the gnucash-on-windows repository ?

Also the file on master had src/bin/overrides/gnucash-env.in listed. I'm not sure if that file is 
obsolete or not. I seem to remember Derek sometimes refers to it.
