Subtotal per day

Any news as far as when (or if) gnucash will get a report that subtotals selected accounts per day.
I was looking for a weekly report of activity for all income during the week but it doesn't subtotal each of the 7 days. 

The program already has options for other time periods and was thinking it (hopefully) might not be hard to just add the extra option.
