I agree that we should limit and prune the wiki.
What I've seen done elsewhere is that feature discussions say something
like "Introduced in version x.y" and/or "Deprecated in version a.b".
Depending on what the topic is, it MAY make sense to keep it, albeit
moving it to the bottom of a page or perhaps onto its own page where it
can clearly be marked as old/deprecated.
As for what versions, IMHO 2.4, 2.6, and 3.x should be kept in the wiki
for now. I think anything older than 2.4 can be removed/deprecated/etc.
