IMHO the easiest way today is using
https://hosted.weblate.org/projects/gnucash/
We recommend to start with the already completed glossary - easier to
read at
https://github.com/Gnucash/gnucash/blob/maint/po/glossary/fr.po
 - to get an impression about the used terminology and conventions.
and then continue wherever you like.
