autoclear now in reconciliation

I'm sorry, I don't know what you mean by "autoclear". I don't recall 
seeing discussion about this.  I don't see a link to a description of 
the feature in the source or the wiki, though there are many source 
files which mention "autoclear".

I reconcile regularly, so I might well have opinions about how this 
change interacts with my reconciliation workflow. But I would rather 
start with an explanation of the feature and its intended benefits.
