Hi GnuCash developers,
I have been contributing to zh-CN translations on Weblate for GnuCash. I noticed that some strings are marked as "approved" on Weblate, not allowing any direct edit. Some of those strings are not high-quality ones that shouldn't be changed, but instead are just some early translations.
For example, the approved translation of "Last up through report date" is "最后次报表日期" which I don't think is readable Chinese at all. "Customer Listing" was translated to "客户帐龄" which is completely different from its original meaning; Probably it's a more proper description of that feature from the original translator's view, but definitely not a suitable translation.
Some translations like these have some pending suggestions but they're there for years untouched. I think we just don't have any active maintainers for the translation. Shall we consider to move the "approved" strings to non-approved state to allow contribution if we can't find any maintainers?
Regards,
Zhaoquan
