Grrrr... I installed guile-1.3 on my Debian system specifically to
check for the existence of hash-fold, and it was there.  Must have
been a Debian patch or a later subversion of 1.3 (the one avail for
Debian was 1.3.4 most likely).

My guess is that Dave has already fixed this (just starting to go thru
my mail) but if he hasn't I'll send a patch.
