Sounds good :-) I think I can have a look at the file later today. I 
guess translating a frensh glossary in po/glossary/ might be helpful, too.

My guess: The i18n-strings from the scheme files are not extracted 
properly. The strings from the scheme file are in 
intl-scm/guile-strings.c and I always notice this file doesn't get 
updated properly. What I do when I want to update a translation is:

cd intl-scm
rm guile-strings.c
make guile-strings.c
cd ../po
rm gnucash.pot
make gnucash.pot

and then msgmerge will give me the totally up-to-date version of the 
translatable strings in gnucash.
