Install oddity?

Thanks for your suggestions. I had verified both my LPRng and glibc 
installations (At least I'm learning something from this thread of problems).

So, I tried your suggestion of removing LPRng and re-installing, but no 
luck, didn't work either. This is gettin monotonous!
