OAF error while running GC1.6.0 on Mandrake8

Hi all,

I installed that Gnucash 1.6.0 Mandrake RPM on
Mandrake 8.0. The install went fine.. I got all the
dependencies resolved.. even got the infamous
g-wrap-runtime-guile thing fixed by the RPM from
rpmfind.net. Gnucash runs fine, it looks great but
there is a problem. Whenever I try to run any report:
Gnucash quits and following error message is on the
terminal from where I run it:

gtkhtml-ERROR **: gconf error: Configuration server
couldn't be contacted:
 Error contacting configuration server: OAF returned
nil from oaf_activate_from_id() and did not set an
exception explaining the problem. Please file an OAF
bug report.


I should mention, I have a stock Mandrake 8.0 install
with KDE and I did not install GNOME. But I did
install all the required packages like bonobo, gtkhtml
etc. from the CDs when I installed Gnucash.

Has anyone seen the above problem? Do u think it could
be fixed by installing the complete GNOME
distribution? Also, I see in the process list, oafd is
running.
