Scroll bars in KDE

I am using gnucash 1.4.1 on Red Hat 7.1 with KDE 2.1.  When I open lists in 
my register, like for the transaction type or transfer, I do not get scroll 
bars.  I have tried changing my gnome window settings and I only get the 
scoll bars when I am using gnucash from gnome.

Any suggestions?
