Dear,
My Mandrake 8.1 distro contains gnucash 1.6.2 , working very well,
inclusive the graphics that I previously never got working. (there seem
to be some rather complex dependency issues ;-) ).
I'm now an enthousiastic user of gnucash.
One question though :
In the profit/loss report there's no entry for the loans I'm paying.
This means that every end of the month I have more profit than I
expected (i.e. the payments for the loans are not seen as expense).
While I think this is accountancy wise correct, I would like to see a
report that explains me where my incoming money was spent that month.
This should include the loan payments. (M$ Money has such a function).
So something like :
Income 100 EURO
Income wife 100 EURO
Car expenses 10 EURO
Food expenses 10 EURO
Loan payments 15 EURO
----------------------
Left 165 EURO
How can this be obtained (maybe by tweaking the profit/loss report ?)
Thanks for any help.
Jos
BTW : Euro I did handle with all accounts double, one in BEF, one in
EURO. And at a certain moment the account is converted. Exactly like my
bank did ...
