Right, I was merely saying that if there are a bunch of CPAN modules that
are required, rather than listing them out in the docs, we could simply 
create a pseudo-bundle which would install all CPAN modules GnuCash requires.

I see this as an independant step from build-time configuration.  It's 
pre-build configuration.  Just an easier way to make sure all the bits are in 
place *before* you run ./configure --enable-online-quotes so that it won't 
fail because of failed dependencies.
