Auto-repeating entries

It's been rumoured that Paul Lussier said:

Well, when we started, the original idea behind guile was to have
a 'user-editable config file' that was more powerful than the 
ordinary unix or MS .ini file format.   And since then, our
use of guile has spun out of control.
