Transaction Restore Help!

Greetings!

   I just put in a lot of really complicated transactions into GNUCash, and 
then restarted it so that I could test some changes to the transaction 
report.  I'm using the PostGres backend and GNUCash ate my transactions! 
(This could be a result of user error, but the thing here is that my 
transactions are eaten).  Is there any way to import the transaction log 
file that GNUCash produced?  The log file clearly shows all the 
transactions.  Is there a recover from log tool somewhere?
