Greetings all,
  First, let me thank Bill Gribble and Jennifer for exchanging several
emails in helping me try to get gnucash 1.6.x installed on my Mandrake 8.0
box.  Alas, I just don't have the will to fight anymore and went back to
gnucash 1.4.10.
  I will check this list periodically, but if anyone ever comes up with a
sure-fire set of instructions for getting gnucash 1.6.x installed and
running, please feel free to email me.
