Problem with dependices

I tried doing this but I received the same errors. Here is the output fro=
m=20
the attempt:
[root@Alannon tmp]# rpm -ivh tkinter-2.1-2mdk.i586.rpm | rpm -ivh=20
python-*.rpm

        python =3D 2.1-2mdk is needed by tkinter-2.1-2mdk
error: failed dependencies:
        tkinter < 2.1 conflicts with python-2.1-2mdk

Did I run the commands incorrectly?
