Oh, I didn't know it was that modular.  I've never seen is, just 
heard from others that it looks/feels exactly like Outlook, from 
which I gathered it was also just as painful :)  Maybe I was wrong to 
jump to that conclusion.

Hmmm, that could be interesting.  Sounds like maybe a build time 
option?  Maybe you could use the interfaces for data entry, but the 
build time option of choosing an sql backend would dictate a storage 
mechanism that placed the data into the db.

Does Evolution support LDAP?  Could you somehow use that to interface 
into the db with the sql backend?

I realize that, but I wanted to point out that there's a huge 
difference between what you guys did and what real DLL hell is.
(see my earlier rant if you've missed it)

Ahm, a result of being /.'ed I take it?  Probabaly a good thing, 
maybe GnuMatic/GnuCash will attract a little more attention from 
those who haven't yet found it :)
