Hello,

I have tried to import my investment accounts from msmoney, but when I try
to 'load' the qif file, i get a message: QIF file parse failed: Data format
inconsistent in QIF file. How do i find out what that inconsistency is?

Please note that I exported the file in strict qif format.

I would really love to get this stuff in gnucash, and willing to spend some
time at it if necessary. My msmoney file is about 10M with several bank,
credit card, and two investment accounts. The most important for me though
is the Investment stuff, as there are transactions dating back 10 years or
so, and need to calculate cap gains etc.

Also: What options are there for online banking? I also use Quickbooks,
and have duly noted that gnucash uses a double entry system. My consulting
business is quite simple, and I would also consider moving it to gnucash
with time. But online banking is really a must. Wouldn't stand to enter
all the transactions manually.

If I connect to my bank, and just download an ofx file, is is possible to
import this into gnucash?

Thanks for any suggestions.
