This might work if one has lots of disk space, but not all of us do. I
tried Ximian redcarpet once. It behaves as if resources are unlimited.
It
proceeded to build a subdirectory of /var, filled it completely and
then died leaving detritus. The only good thing was that the rpm's
I needed were left in /var and I was able to add the ones needed one at
a time
until gnucash would install. One really annoying thing about Ximian
is that they don't tell you where the rpm's are located. They try to
force you to use redcarpet.
I have also used rpmfind without problems many times. For gnucash and
redhat the required libraries are almost never there though.
