Scheduling/Forecast?

Hey everyone...

I've used Linux as my full-time OS at work for the last three years now and
have been wanting to make the full switch from Windoze to Linux at home for
years.

The one catch: we (my wife and I) use Money 2001 to track our finances.

We just took gnucash for a test drive and we're just about ready to switch
over to it (and thus, linux) but there are just two features we need to
achieve first:

  1. Something that reminds us of upcoming bills, shows us what's coming in
the next couple weeks, what's overdue.
  2. Something similar to Money's 'Cash Flow Forecast', which forecasts the
cash in an account over time.

Is gnucash going to have something like this or do you envision this type of
functionality ultimately being achieved by using gnucash in cooperation with
a couple other apps?

In the mean time, before I break out the Python book, does anyone know of
apps that compliment gnucash in providing features (in one form or another)
like those listed above? The most important is the reminder, the forecast
is sugar.

Thanks so much,
