libguppi problem building gnucash 1.6.1 under RedHat 7.1

Okay, I pulled down all of the RedHat rawhide RPMS and have gnome 1.4
installed.  I pulled down the Guppi 0.35.5 SRPM and installed it.  I
then tried to build gnucash from the SRPM after modifying it to
include the PostgreSQL features.  During the config, it claims it
can't find libguppi.  Well, it's right: there is no libguppi.so; it's
all libguppiSOMETHING.so.

Where have I gone wrong :-/
