I agree that bugzilla is not very intuitive. But do you have any other
solution to cheaply track bugs and feature requests? Just posting
problems to a mailing list might bring some attention to the problem,
but the problem will be forgotten, if not someone files it manually into
a bug database. I think the person who is most interested in the problem
getting solved should make the effort to file the problem. For example,
I had never a problem with creating directories, how could I file a bug
report that accurately describes the problem of the original poster?

Looking at the many bugs filed for gnucash, there seem to be quite a few
people out there who think it's worth the effort.

That's unfortunate, because the develpers can hardly second guess your
problems and needs.
