I haven't tried RH 8.0 yet--been a little wait-n-see about how it shakes
out.  I'm just repeating like an automaton what I've heard.  If it works
fine on RH 8.0, though, with Gnome2, that's great.  I do know that none
of the calls have been changed for Gnome2 (and a bunch will have to),
but if Gnome2 is backwards-compatible to Gnome 1.4, that would rock.
