How to Designate Parent Account?

Greetings,

I successfully installed Gnucash 1.4.10 yesterday, after a little=20
difficulty with dependencies. =20

Now I want to create three parent accounts, each with various=20
sub-accounts. But I don't see in the documentation or the open account=20
dialogue exactly how one creates a parent account name. =20

Is it done automatically when one saves?  (That is, does the saved name =

become the parent account name when one next opens the document?)

Could someone briefly clue me in?
