Currency Handling

Hello,

I am using gnucash now for a couple of months and it works very well (crashed 
only once, while doing a price update while not being online). But I still 
have small problems with currency handling.

The Accounts window has in its default configuration 3 columns "Account 
name", "Description", and "Total". If I select Euro as default currency, I 
get a fourth column (also called "Total"), in which the currency of all 
accounts is Euro. For accounts in Euro, the two "Total" columns contain 
completely identical entries. For non-Euro accounts the fourth column 
contains 0 Euro.

Next I supplied the exchange rate using the price editor, but still 0 Euro in 
the forth column.

Has anybody an idea what is going wrong here?
