Different debit/credit dates.

I'm a lazy bum and I do accounting once a month--by importing QIF
files and typing in account statements.  From that point of view, it's
not too much hassle making my GnuCash transaction date match the date
on bank statements.  So, for a reason that I've yet to come up with, I
decide to make my GnuCash match my statements.  

It seems like a good implementation of account payable/receivable
feature would let me do that without much effort, so I'll look forward
to when GnuCash have that :o).

Being illogical gives one a charactor :oP,
