.lnk and binfmt files

I may be the only person experiencing this problem, but here goes. I'm
trying to clean out the directory on my computer that contains my
gnucash files.  My "main" file is call "gc".  However, I have some
strange files that look like the following:

gc.7f0100.10633.LNK
gc.7f0100.2006.LNK
gc.7f0100.2687.LNK

...and...

gc-binfmt.bkup

I don't remember creating any of these files.  Does anyone know if these
are files normally created by gnucash?  If they are, is it ok to delete
them?
