Changing mailing list subscription policy

Why not leave the gnucash-user list as is, and start an newsgroup?=20
Newsgroups don't require subscriptions, and anonymous posters can post
to it.  That protects the interests of current/future subscribers while
at the same time providing another avenue for non-subscribers.

Just a thought, I don't really know what it takes to start a
newsgroup...
