SuSE Installation

GnuCash users,

Has anyone upgraded gnucash-1.4.11 on SuSE 7.2 or gnucash 1.6 on SuSE
8.1? As far as I can tell there are no upgrades on gnucash.org or
suse.com for either version. I found the archives, but there didn't seem
to be any way to search it.

I would prefer compiling from source, but getting all the dependencies
taken care of seems daunting. Help anyone?
