update-finance-quote problem

I'm fairly new to Linux and could sure use some help. I installed RH8
from their disks, and that's where I got gnucash (1.6). Gnucash loaded
fine and I'm using it for some simple things and think it works great.
But now I want to get stock quotes and gnucash told me to run
update-finance-quote from root, which I did. here's what I got:

# update-finance-quote

It keeps repeating that with /usr/bin/wget, trying to get
10mailrc.txt.gz, but never can. 

I'm not sure what to do, but any suggestions would be greatly
appreciated. I could even get 01mailrc.txt.gz myself and run the update
again, but I don't know where to install it.
