GnuCash 1.8.1 Questions and Hang

I'd really like to know what you mean by "the values in the accounts
are completely incorrect"?  In what way are they incorrect?

The only changes I made to the QIF importer betwen 1.8.0 and 1.8.1
were a small fix to keep it from crashing when you had ambigious
dates, and I believe I added a patch to better cope with Split
Transactions (because they were coming in backwards for the sample I
was given).

Is there any chance you could supply an example transaction that gets
imported "wrong"?
