Trying to get 1.6.6.7/8 going on RH8.0

Chris, thank you for the suggestion. I finally did do a complete install
which fixed the gnome-print error. (I tried first to just R&R Gnome, but
had to slink away in defeat after several hours of agony...). I will
stick with the canned (rpm) s/w for now.
