GnuCash 1.7.7 build problems

Thanx for the info.  I did have libgnomeui.so, however
when running a 'strings' on it the gettext routine
wasn't in it.  I recompiled gnome-libs and it
magically appeared.

No 1.7.7 starts up fine and I can start testing it.
