A small query or two

I think it's ~/.gnome/GnuCash .  Delete or edit it.  I had this
problem and ran
    
    find ~/.g* | grep -i cash

to find anything left over after I deleted ~/.gnucash .

It's annoying that Gnome programs want to store configuration
information under ~/.gnome .  It makes it harder for users to find
it.
