Well, this is more than SuSE users, but OTOH SuSE should be distributing
a gnucash-docs RPM anyways!

Maybe! OTOH are first-line "end users" are the distributions. We
expect the Red Hat's, SuSE's, Mandrakes, and Debians of the world to
distribute the code. Beyond that, we expect users who want to
"upgrade" beyond their distribution to at least be able to run
"./configure --help" to figure out how to use "--prefix"... Using
--prefix is just standard operating procedure, so, yes, I expect
someone who is compiling software to at least know how to use
configure.
