vnc is simple and it does not care what applications you are using.  In
fact I am using vnc right now.  It saves me a monitor ;)  It is a little
slow till you get used to it.  I only use it for mundane stuff like
email, but its to slow from work to use the web browser (you can forward
the browser anyway).  I plan to use gnucash from work when necessary.
