I've just succeeded in making my first gnucash data back-up cd-r. How can I safely test it to determing that it actually works. I tried opening a new file in gnucash and it could not get a lock, as of course I already had opened gnucash. Suggestions welcomed. TIA, Bill ps - do I need md5's here also?
