step-by-step guide on setting up small business accounting

I have never used Quicken or QuickBooks.

My wife and I want to get started with gnucash to do our business
accounting (and our personal family finances). We choice gnucash last
month after installing and quickly looking at Xfinans, emma, gnofin, and
kmymoney2.

I found a detailed guide on getting started with business finances at
http://www.ncsysadmin.org/july2001/ncsa-gnucash-talk.html (Mack, Joseph,
"Gnucash and double entry accounting"). But it appears to be out-of-date
or not applicable. (I may be mistaken though.)

Reading through the GnuCash Tutorial and Concepts Guide and other parts of
the documentation module don't seem to give a good step-by-step guide on
setting up small business accounting.

Does anyone have any URLs to other good docs that teach the steps to
getting started with gnucash for business accounting?

Or is anyone interested or already started working on a getting started
guide (with step-by-step examples) for doing business accounting with
gnucash?

On a related note, is there any courseware for gnucash?

By the way, I added gnucash-docs-1.8.1 for pkgsrc (used by NetBSD and
other operating systems) on June 30. Soon, NetBSD packages for
gnucash-docs will be available.
