Not surprising, considering the parse failure...

well, that 1 scheduled transaction is sufficient to cause the file
not to open in older versions.  Sorry, you're out of luck.
You can either upgrade to 1.8 on your Debian system, or you
can remove the SX from the data file and hope that helps.  But
basically once you move forward, moving back is, uhh, problematic.
