Adding new shares of stocks

Hi Derek, ^_^

This is the exact problem I've experienced (I brought this up on IRC one
night about a week before the 1.8.2 release). I also run RH 8.0 with
Gnome, and I get this same $1 issue with whatever version I run with. I
even reinstalled RedHat, then installed the 1.8.2 RPM, and it did that
behavior.

Any detailed information I can give you that might help? I started with
setting up a devel environment for GnuCash to see if I could track down
the problem, but I haven't reached that goal yet.

Cheers,

Kevin
