Process payment / create invoice from qif import

Hi,
I've been trying to import some data using qif import. As i was importing data from my bank account i found that while in my old accounting package there where payments connected to bills, however these transactions were now simply balanced against my A/Payable and not connected to any bill.

Besides that, i would like to import my A/Payable, but then this would mean the importer would have to ask for every transaction to enter a invoice number for it.

Is this inherently impossible, due to the layout of qif, or is this something that might get implemented in the near future?
